My way of writing is
simple and understandable
Despite all the talk of digital dominance, books haven’t vanished from our lives. It’s easier than ever to publish – even if it’s just a single copy or a small print run. There are countless reasons to write: A family history, a personal memoir, a collection of cherished memories, and much more, and with some luck, that printed book can endure for generations.
If writing feels overwhelming, use a ghostwriter.
My writing style is simple, accessible, and shaped by living in the mountains. I look to connect with a wide range of readers through storytelling that feels both personal and grounded.
So far, I’ve written 40 books in German for publishers in South Tyrol, Austria, and Germany and five guidebooks in English for Adamant Lodge and CMH Heli-Skiing in Canada. I’ve also translated three books from Italian to German, including for AS-Verlag in Switzerland.
Sometimes, I’m the writer for the book, sometimes the photographer – often, I’m both.

Storytelling is one of the oldest and most powerful ways to share knowledge. Whether in education, journalism, therapy, marketing, or PR – it connects people, simplifies complex ideas, and leaves lasting impressions.

At its core, storytelling is about making information vivid and memorable. It sparks curiosity, stirs emotion, and transforms facts into experiences. A well-told story doesn’t just inform – it inspires. It creates such a strong connection that people don’t just remember it; they share it.
Research shows that enthusiasm fuels memory. When a story moves us, we’re far more likely to remember and pass it on.
I know this firsthand. I grew up listening to my grandmother’s stories – rich with detail, emotion, and meaning. I still recall them after several decades, as if she had told them yesterday. Since then, I’ve collected stories of my own – countless moments, adventures, and insights I now love to share.
